For years a model campervan gathered dust in our kitchen, as a reminder of a long held ambition that some day we wanted to have one of our own. We finally realised this dream and bought our first campervan in 2016. After Steve’s extensive research we settled on a Wellhouse Leisure converted Toyota Granvia.
Our criteria for selecting the camper included: quality and value for money and a tried-and tested brand; reliability, versatility and straightforward driving. We wanted a campervan in which we could easily experience both the comforts and spontaneity that a campervan adventure would provide.
It is these qualities that led to Steve’s establishment of KillieCampers. We believe that making it good enough for us means it’s good enough for our customers to enjoy.
Our care of and investment into the detail is the basis of your quality holiday package. For example, here are some personal extras for comfort and enjoyment:
TomTom satellite navigation kit
Natty mug holders and travel mugs – save on buying carry-out cuppas
Current camping-guide books and touring maps
A quality memory foam mattress topper
And, for windy beaches a kite.
So far we have managed a few trips, the best of which was to the Outer Hebrides and the islands of Barra, Eriskay, South & North Uist. But there’s plenty more to go at and we will be out there again as soon as we can, assuming it’s not on hire of course.
